Hey here ppl can swap info on DIY clothing. Links to places, or patterns ppl have made, skirts, tops, pants, all kinds of things...just talk!

I made a skirt out of pants for skool. I didn't like wear pants anymore so I got some navy materila and unpicked teh innerlegs of my pants and added the material there. Then added a little at the side pant seam at the bottom to make it look not so much like pants into a skirt but a skirt. It is awesome, I have gotten llots of complements on it. SO try! It is easier to make a mini skirt though cuase u can use the area of leg cut-off and add it ot the gap in the middle.

i bought a frankly ugly skirt from St Vinnies the other day cos it had tule on it and it was purple for a school social, and i fixed it up so it looks heaps good, with black tule over it and stuff. it looks so cute

I'm not sure of many sites on DIY clothes; but I LOVE making over clothes; actually I just like sewing and design full stop.

I'll find some pictures of some clothes I've made or made over and I'll try and post them ASAP! :uhhuh:

I love sewing/making shit.
I sew skirts, headbands and bags mostly, also I stencil a lot, make beaded jewellery, though I'm looking at making a necklace using some old, brightly coloured zippers.
I also love to make random things like earring holders... right now I'm working on my first zine. Oh, fun times.
