i got a STAT score of 156 and a uai of 96.45..u think thats okay for USYD?? or is my stat score not high enough?? USYD says that u need a min 150/200 for STAT and a min uai of 93.15

min uai of 93.15 applies for 2008 entry.. not 2009 - it could change, but you seem fairly safe. stat score is fine.

should be okay but i know there's quite a few people with higher stat and uai trying for pharmacy.

how many people do they accept into pharm course?

You should be safe, apply for Pharmacy at CSU Orange as another prefernce just in case.

its a highly competitive course,
but u shud be fine at USYD

I've been told by Faculty of Pharmacy that the annual intake of Pharm students is approx. 300 (or maybe it was 250) - 250 CSP and 50 DFEE places.

hasnt the DFEE been abolished for next yr?

Yeah, unless those places are intended for the graduate pharmacy/masters of pharmacy course. But I think it was simply published before the announcement.

Abolishment of DFEE would PROBABLY mean that the UAI cut-off would be lower, since there are more CSP places available??
Thus giving you better chances..

I've said it a few times in other threads, but not necessarily - AFAIK the DFEE places aren't being converted to CSP.
