Do i still have a chance getting 70 atar??? (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone, i really wanted to get a atar of 70 but i dont think it is still possible, i need 65 to be a police officer... anyways my rankings are pretty bad, they are all average rankings. The subjects i do include standard english, modern history, ancient history, legal studies and business studies. i have been getting bad marks around 60 to 70 throughout the whole year and trials just passed a week ago. we still have one more exam coming up next term that weighs 15 percent. Anyways do i still have a chance to get 70 for my atar and can someone please tell me how rankings work ? all my teachers give me different answers and im completely confused now.

UWS - bonus points. Also, you could enter through UWSCollege, study a Diploma of Social Science (Policing) that requires an ATAR of 50 (I know people who entered with a 40) for a year. Successfully complete the diploma (maintain a pass average), and you'll be guranteed entry into 2nd year of the B Policing program @UWS. You're literally losing no time.

p.s. my mates who literally got 20 atar below the cut-off still made it into uws policing. Still, you better put in the effort especially since there are still quite a few assessments left including the HSC.

Thanks for the reply guys, yep I'll look into the uws bonus points, and study harder for the remaining exams,
My current school ranking is in the late 200's and these are my following ranks
Standard English 30/90
Business studies 15/45
Legal studies 33/66
Ancient history 21/45
Modern history 34/70

Once again thanks for the replys, I'll be looking at alternative ways to get into uni if I can't get 65 atar

Improve all around espically English and you can get 70+
