i was actually going to say the same thing as crazyhomo cos you said that if your partner is a virgin then you don't necessarily need a condom, and the point was that he/she could still have stds regardless of virginity.

just because you haven't had actual intercourse doesn't mean you can't have done anything else (eg oral sex), which could lead to you catching stds

ummm...it's actually pretty much impossible to get an std through oral sex. you need blood to blood contact. you can't ingest an std. only way you could get it through oral sex is if you had a cut in your mouth, and bit too hard i guess. but in answer the 'how do you get an std without the s?' question, like i said, any blood to blood contact can transmit an std. which is why sex and needle sharing is the most common way of catching them

blood, saliva anything really, but commonly coming into contact where the "infection" is- and of course it depends on the actual std being transmitted because some stds r rare, some effect certain ppl only/more so, how contagious the std is etc...

pretti much any contact with another persons fluids....can be a risk to an infection... lik with oral there is a chance of catchin HPV (human papillomavirus virus) .. same cause of cevical cancer.. causing oral tumours

umm STD's are now referred to as STI's (infections)
syphilis can be caught by skin-to-skin..

gonorrhea can be caught from genital tract, mouth, and rectum .. and spread to reproductive organs..

Yeah its any fluid (not just blood) and some are even caught through skin to skin contact. eg semen/vaginal fluid carries the HIV virus and thats why unprotected sex with someone you don't know their sexual history very well is a BAD BAD idea (they might not know they've got it)

Back to the question.....sex without a condom definitely feels better (although my bf has never ejaculated inside me so I wouldn't know if that feels any different) but yeah, especially at this age, condoms are essential. Id much rather use a condom than get pregnant.
