it all depends on the situation

sometimes its best not to get involved
sometimes its best that the person knows

Yeh, and i do it too. Not so much nowadays, cos im given much more freedom from my mum now, but when i was younger i was always "Staying at Meg's house" or "going to the movies with my friends"... she was none the wiser.

I used to let my friend do that.. until I found out she was doing it when I asked her places..

Eg: I ring her to ask to do something and she says she has plans with the fella.. that's fair enough... then I find out later that she told her parents she was with me.

I just don't think that that was cool at all.. we had a pretty massive falling out over a lot of shit like that.. things are ok again now..

my friends have covered up for me when i wanted to go somewhere late or something when i was younger. even now sometimes but not really anymore. does it upset you that much that they do? or does it upset you that what they are doing is bad and involoving you in the periphery of it all or something?

for me it was she was saying no to me when i wanted to go out and then using me as an excuse n doing something with her bf insted of me. Like if i hadn't asked her any where yeah fine i don't care what she tells her parents, justd on't say no to me and then use me as an excuse.. it kinda really hurts..

I do that mainly coz I don't want my parents finding out what I'm doing, because if they did, they would probably want to do shopping or something that involves where I'm going at the exact same time.
