I am planning to buy this computer and was wondering if its worth the price, this is my first time and I dont want to get ripped off.

PRICE : $976

Motherboard: Intel H77 Chipset Motherboard
Processor: Intel i7 3770
RAM: DDR3 1600MHz 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB)
Video card: GTX 550Ti
Hard drive: 1TB SATA III
Cooler: Copper/Aluminium Tower CPU Cooler with Fan
Audio: Onboard 7.1 CH High Definition Audio
Windows: Windows 7 Home Premium
WATT: 500WATT


I want to mainly want to use this computer for some quality gaming. Some games that I want to play are GTA 4, Starcraft 2, BF3, WoW, Star Wars (new one), Crysis 2

If there is a particular area that the desktop is lacking for the games above me can you guys tell me I should upgrade because I still have like $100~

Well you could save ~$300-100 if you built it yourself,monitors, keyboard and mouse aren't added right?
But assuming you aren't building a computer I think this seems like a better deal www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-x51/pd ~$700

Id want a better graphics card for that price for sure.
Can you post individual prices of each part?

EDIT: And 500W PSU is a bit on the low side.
