special case tommy, i'm willing to bet a majority of people who have got state rankings in english prepare their essays.

meh its just my personal dislike for people preparing stuff before they enter the exam room and simply regurgitating soemthing that their tutor may have written.

each to their own however.

yeah but those people don't do well, the most they can get for that is 12/15.

as i said, what makes people stand out is their ability to answer the question throughout the entirety of their essay.
