can anyone plz help me? i got an assignment that tells me to research how fire is a symbol of cleansing and rebirth. i had been searching everywhere for information but still cant find any...do any of you know? thx.

i think you can relate it to the sun, as creation and rebirth. hrmm...i'm not sure about the how fire can be the symbolism of cleansing

also...you can maybe check up forest fires?! '' haha

after a bushfire the bush is reborn? perhaps?, it clears away all the bad and allows new stuff to grow, rebirth of nature, in one of Skrzynecki's poems he uses fire as a symbol of rebirth, which i cant remember and im not getting up to check! hehe i met Skrzynecki

fire.. hmm.. fire/light is used during like baptism to symbolise presense of god... god could be a symbol of life i guess...

note.. baptism is like a symbol for cleansing sins and stuf.. so yea..
