Basically, it allows you to continue without having to repeat. It's a bit different from a Pass as you have certain rules and guidelines before getting a PC (Pass Conceded). Also, there is a limit of 18 UOC of PCs over all undergraduate programs, meaning you can only get a few PCs throughout your entire program.
Those are the differences between a PS and a PC.
