re-read my post. He was chosen because of his humbleness and kindness to others. Yet he could not read or write. When the Qur'an was revealed to him, angel Gabriel commanded: "Read", and the Prophet said "But I cannot read", angel Gabriel proceeded to say this I think at least three times, then he (Gabriel)said "Read, in the name of Thy Lord.....". And, each time a verse was revealed, the Prophet would have scribes to write it down for him. Please look it up if you find it confusing.

yeh yeh i get it, ive heard this before...the sunni believe this whilst the shia dont...

firstly the pig is a filthy animal
it lives in mud
eats its own shit
its the only animal that has sex with its mother
it has a bacteria in it that you cannot kill
its scientificlaly prooven
and otehr things that i cant think of

the human excretes approximately 98 % of a chemical called uric acid (not sure of the spelling).. from our bodies.. its a very harnful chemical.. pigs i think only excrte 2%... and so u could imagine the harm it does to our body

no jesus according to us is a prophet of Allah(god)...
a prophet and messenger
god is god
no partners..no mother father or children

i often wonder wat makes christains believe that jesus was gods son....why wasnt moses or any other prophet gods son,.....why jesus in particular...i wouldve thought its coz jesus talked whilst in his crib and said he was a prophet of god and maybe they would have thought that was a miracle and taken him as gods son......but christains dont believe jesus spoke when he was a new born...so does anyone out there know why??

Insha'Allah. Lol, you had in your post "If you take each arabic word", and I was like, man, he sounds like my grandfather (he is kind of like an Islamic Scholar/Lecturer). Is it your website? Some of his programs came on cable channels ages ago and we watched some of it.

yes, but that is in the old testament... in the new tesament those regulations are written over in Acts 11 and Col 2:16 "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink"...
it was part of the o.t. laws to separate the Israelites from the other nations... but in Acts 11 God appeared to Simon in a vission saying that what He has cleansed cannot be called common or unclean... xo

Anythng mentioned in the Qur'an does not neccesarily mean it has healing powers. Unless, of course, that is your version (shia) of it. *sigh* We are the same religion yet we have so many little differences

yes its amazing
its written in the koran about how honey has healing powers and stuf fthats good for the body and medicational stuff
and only recently it was scientifically prooven
where all they had to do was read the koran and it wa stehre for them
i know of a guy who converted to islam on that basis
he was watching a science show where they were talking about it
meanwhile his friend gave him a koran to read
