I'm currently doing a Bachelor of Arts but am considering applying for a Bachelor of Arts/Master of Teaching mid-year and I want to know if I would keep my old GPA. The Graduation Policy seems to indicate that I would get a new GPA even if I transfer credit from my old course, but I'd like to hear first hand accounts from people who have done similar.

Bump.

I'd also like to know if UWS provides you with a new GPA if you transfer into another course.

Yes, you will be given a new GPA. BUT if any of the subjects in your old course are counted towards the new course, these subjects will be included in the new GPA calculation. Well, that's what happened to me...

EDIT: so in the OP's case, your GPA will probably be the same, since Im guessing the cores in the B arts are the same as those in B arts/Master of teaching.
