ye i mean it wont directly test 2u concepts but its assumed knowledge so if they give questions that might require 2u concepts or techniques that might have not been exclusively taught in 3u, the markers would still expect you to know it. I've seen the papers for 2u and 3u and there's not much direct overlap however there are some questions there that can be solved with 2u methods.

If they are to assess you on 2u concepts in 3u, the 2u content must be somehow linked to a 3u concept.

when I did 3u there was a topic my teacher called "harder 2u" that he introduced at the very end since there wasn't anything new to be taught, and it was really hard 2u questions/concepts that didn't fall under a 3u topic. there would always be like 0-2 harder 2u questions that I encountered in every paper
