I'm doing B Education (Primary) and I just worked out my timetable yesterday.

For semester one I am only doing 6 hrs a week of lectures and tutorials. Then for semester two it jumps to twelve hours a week.

Does this sound all good or am I missing something?

hey
im in 2nd yr primary ed
u do 4 subjects in 1st semester in 1st year and they are all compulsory.
u should be doing

Language and Literacy
Issues in Ab Education
intro to curriculum
psychology 1A

so year it should be 3 hours for each subject, equalling 12 hrs.
plus you will end up doing a prac in school one day a week (beginning week 4) so that also makes more hours
:p

be glad
i'm doing a bazillion hours this sem

yeah definatly fix it up before friday or you will end up with crappy tut times for those subjects
(altho u don't do tut registration for psychology till like the 24th i think because it's part of the arts faculty)

You can do as many as you want. I am doing only three, to compensate for my DipLaw course.

Wow your doing two courses. Good luck. Did you apply for them seperately through uac or something? Isn't dimploma mean post gradate studies??

Yep i have 12 hours during first semester - i haven't worked out my second semester stuff yet.
But only 6 hours? You'd be sitting on a sweet spot.
