Doing BUSL250 in summer school? (1 Viewer)

Help me! I can't decide to do BUSL250 in 2nd semester or in summer school..I have so much work do to during the semester..
Has anyone done BUSL250 in summer school?
Do you think it is hard to get high grade in summer school?
And will the summer school grade be included in the cumulative GPA?
Any answers would be appreciated.

Not me personally - but I know others have and with a bit of work you should be right. You will be mostly be up against (asian) international students who'll be doing 2 subjects as it works out cheaper for them - win x 2 for you.

Yes, subjects done in summer school are treated as normal.

Just be aware of the costs - upfront and twice how much you pay if you are a HECS/HELP student.

summer skool is really really easy to pass - the rumor is the only way to fail summer course is if your cheque bounces
but its alot harder to get a distinction, so everyone will be squashed into the pass and credit zone.

the only problem is that u'll need to pay $1500 UPFRONT instead of $750 HECS deferred. if that's not a big deal for you then you should be fine - just make sure ur cheque wont bounce.

I have done BUSL250 in summer school - I didnt find it too bad. I passed so I was happy.

To put it into perspective for you, I work full time and I only took five days off that were for the lectures, and then a day to prepare for the exam. I am not sure about grades being easy to obtain (as I am only in uni to Pass) but im sure its not too bad.

It does count towards your GPA and the cost was $1600 when I paid, in November last year.

Other than that, there is about 300 students who were enrolled in the subject. If you have any other questions, fire away....

hey mserica, just wondering what are the times of the lectures? because i work full-time as well and i was presuming that summer school provided some night class lectures at least

Nope, they definately dont do evening classes , the had Tuesday and Thursday from 10am - 5pm for two weeks and then the review was on a Monday from 10am - 5pm. Seven days later was the examination.

Just remember you dont do any assessments for this summer school program you only have the examination which is worth 100%
