Doing tutoring after HSC? (1 Viewer)

avoid most tutoring companies unless you are sure they have a good reputation. Alot of them are scams and are inter connnected.

of course, there are some legit ones but the point is to be VERY wary

I started tutoring after the HSC (mainly cos my mum did not want me to be idle for 3 months doing nothing and knowing im not keen on the retail sector...) with students ranging from yr 4 to yr 12 in english and economics. the money thing is good of course but often (if you're tutoring many students in differing subjects from different grades and diffferent learning abilities) you either need alot of patience or you need to LEARN some patience VERY FAST lol

it's kinda a learnign process for the tutor too and if you get good mks and are confident of expressing your knowledge to another person then give it a go

how did you find the students, leave drop off leaflets in the mail or something?
