these are just random thoughtz~~~~

language techniquez= rhetorical questions which makes reader a "part of the poem"

reflective views of his time (time of exploration/science/discoveries)

dramatic poetry

concrete ideas(spiritual) /intangible ideas

powerful openings (leads to argumentive tones)

SUNNE RISING
*language
repitition/exaggeration/paradox/witful arguments/alliteration/
*ideas of the poem
Donne and his lover & thei "love" is the centre of the universe and the sun is intruding

VALEDICTION
*language
alliteration/imagery
*ideas of the poem
a farewell msg to a loved one.. telling her not to go hysterical over the parting as they are a compass and will forever be "connected" with each other. combined souls.

RELIQUE
*language
personification/allusion to biblical figures/alliteration
*ideas of the poem
Believing their love was spiritual not physical, believeing that their love is a miracle because it was so complete nad yet so platonic.

this prolli doesnt help much~!!! hehe
