anyone who has been through it, may you please let us know of your thoughts on the subject? the dedication needed, the topic you chose for your major assignment, what mark you received, how you answered it, how long it took you to prepare, when did you do it (holdays...?), where did you go for resources....

firstly post on the hist ext forums.. there are heaps of ppl that can help up there....

personally i have found history extension to be one of the most fulfilling subjects i have studied this year. however different people like different things, therefore i suggest you ask your teacher if she/he thinks you are capable and are suited hist ext.., if you are a person who doesnt mind doing a huge amount of research for your major work i think you would also enjoy hist ext

i got 85% for my major work, which was a pleasing result..... and most of my reaserch was done before and during the holidays.

goodluck with your choices!, and if u pick hist ext i hope u enjoy it as much as i did ;p
