the rock is starring right? i didnt even know doom had a story. i thought it was just some hero lad blowing fuck out of monsters no story required
i hope its just the rock walking around shooting things for an hour and a half
that would be the best movie ever

Still, as long as there is mountainous quantities of mindless violence (which there is bound to be) I'm not going to complain, that and the fact that I'm an ignorant Doom fan in the first place. Hell, even if it is crap, I'll probably end up buying the DVD.

you can just tell. doom was an awesome game but just lookin at them shitty arsed previews it looks crap. the monsters are supposed to be scary, not crap lookin stuff thats always in "alien" movies. grrr. its gonna be like, the monsters clim outta some cages and run around and eat people, the rock walks around and shoots the un scary monsters. i can guarantee that there'll be a scene where he stumbles upon some guy been half eaten or some stupid thing like that then at the end he'll fight the big boss monster. grrr. its supposed to be set on mars! argh. its supposed to be scary! argh. damn whats his face. one day if i become a movie director ill remake it and itll be way better.

I saw DOOM last night, it rocked sooooooooooooo hard. It was lamely awesome. I loved it.

It's quite hilarious. I loved it. I was sitting between 5 guys which made it even funnier cos they were also laughing their arses off.

Carmack of the Doom Movie.

I had fairly low expectations, and there were even some plans in palce to guide me away from any press after the premier if I didn't like the movie, so I wouldn't say something "unproductive", but I was pleasantly surprised.

No, it isn't an oscar movie, but it definitely isn't Super Mario Brothers / Street Fighter / Double Dragon.

I do wish they had kept the true satanic / hellish theme, but I think they did a credible job with their alternate direction

I personally don't expect much but I'll be going to see it sometime next week.
