32 CP in one semester is a HELL OF A LOT of work, thats the problem...u'd be at uni or studying basically all day just to keep upOriginally posted by Estel
Combined degrees other than engineering at USYD are 240 units if I'm not mistaken... why don't most people just do it in 4 years then if you have the choice to do 32 credit points (isn't that 256 in 4 years)?
Well..u see things aren't as spread out as in the HSC...u just dont have the time - things are always due, and as jih said, exam period will kill u..I dunno, but could u study for 5+ subjects in the one week of stuvac u get?Originally posted by Estel
I don't see anything wrong with tackling a greater workload but I'm probably being naive there.
Well the difference is that u dont have the time like u did in the HSC...every week u are learning something new and it takes a deal of effort to keep up with lectures...ie, say u learnt Differentiation over 2 weeks in Year 12...at uni, u learn all of that in 1 day, and u have to understand it by that night, coz the next day, u'd be doing integration (for example)Originally posted by Estel
Minai: Regarding exam period, why is it so stressful? If you've studied across the year isn't it just like the HSC where you just do a bit of revision?
