If you choose to do a double degree, and get accepted and what not, but half way through you are totally bombing 1 of them, or not able to cope with doing a double, is it possible to just drop one?

and when calculating GPA and WAM, do they use both marks? or do you get a GPA for degree 1 and GPA for degree 2?

sorry, so many questions..

yes you can just do a single degree. i think the exception is combined law.

you will only get 1 gpa. i.e they are combined

edit: for combined law you can drop the law component and just do say the arts component if u wish but nice the otherway around

just to let you know just because you do a double degree doesn't mean you do double the work load at once.

You still only do a "full-time" load that any full-time student does.

I'm doing a double degree and it's fine.

It may increase the longevity of the degree however. Ie. 4-5year degree instead of 3year.

is comm/LLB @ UWS worth anything more than say, just commerce @ USYD/UNSW for instance, or does that UWS tag still drag the prestige down (no offence to any UWSers)
