So i want to do a BComm/BEco degree majoring in accounting, finance, eco
am i allowed to do the accounting/finance majors first and if i ceebs doing the eco major just drop it (so in fact i'm dropping down back to a Bcomm major 424000)?
is that allowed?how easy is it to drop it? is it better to go BCommerce and do the majors and then pick up the eco major if interested or do BComm/Eco and drop eco major if no longer wanted?

Thank you,
LOLcadet ♥

Yes. That would be actually wise thing to do. (No sarcasm)

EDIT: However, don't enter a course thinking you would like to drop it.

-yes it is allowed
-it is very easy, can be done online in 2 minutes
-your core subjects are the same in 1st year, hopefully by the end of 1st year you have an idea of which majors you want to continue with

you "pick" a major by doing 7-8 compulsory courses in order for that major

That being said if you want it on your degree you need to inform the relevant office/faculty/administrators.

EDIT: Well, that's how it was back in the day when I did Commerce at UNSW. Might be different now (e.g. automated, online perhaps, etc).
