theres a bug with the addon which doesnt remove the msn ads. fix it with the following patches:

It is deliberate.

The "Hide Advertisement Banner" that was in the program since Messenger Plus! 1.00 has been removed from MSN Messenger 7. From now on, it will only be available for MSN Messenger versions 6.2 and below. Several reasons are pushing me to remove this option, including the fact that I do not want to go against the new business model Microsoft has implemented in Messenger 7. I hope some of you won't take it too badly, I will not changed my mind so please, do not write me about it. Thank you for understanding.

I believe its like Windows 2k and Windows XP. At the beginning, the different look made XP seem weird and unnatural but as more people started using it, it became normal and "good". I believe this is also the case with 7 except 7 also has a lot more features than 6.2.

actually i liked windows xp straight away , but msn 7 is chunky. its got user names so far apart and makes it too big. so its shit./ and alot of peoplle agree with me

Hehe i love that boss protection. Ive set it up so that by pressing the space bar msn disappears from vision. Its saved me a few times at work

all msn things have spyware read this from the small print


well it wouldnt let me copy it, but pretty much by accepting it you have allow then, upload spyware on to ur computer, that changes ur homepage, sets a toolbar etc

when u install mns plus it askes you if u want to install this sponsor software , but it does it in a tricky way , it looks like the agreement to use the msn plus it self, and instad of selecting yes you have to say no

Ping actually is used to find out if the person you're chatting to has MSN Plus or not.

You right click a contact on your MSN list, go down to Messenger Plus! Extras then go to Contact Information. Then you click Check for Plus! and it'll Ping them. If you get a Pong reply it means they have it otherwise, they don't.

i use to set it at 25% transparent, it was't THAT bad.

If you would change the thumbnail avatar from large to small it would be much better. It's somewhere in the options.
