hey what dresses are there that are for bigger busted women ..i mean i dun wanna be hanghing out all over the place in skimpy clothes...i tried on halter tops /dresses but they just look bad and too revealing..any advice?

anything wrap-around suits bigger breasted girls.
also, the problem might be your bra. if you wear the right size and style bra you wont be 'hanging out'.

i think theyre called empire line dresses. but anything with a waistband and triangle-type top (ahhh im not doing well descriptively...) is a nono. everysingle one i tried on made my boobs look 1000x bigger
wraparounds are your saviour as alleycat said, other than that....ummm, i dunno

Wraparounds CAN be good provided the "wrap" part doesn't go "under" the bust - if it does, it'll "enhance" it (my mum and I did a wedding dress for a woman who was an E or F cup... eeeek!). Try doing some quick stitiching to have the "wrap" part come ACROSS one of the breasts rather than cutting right underneath it - it'll reduce the size slightly.

V-necks always look nice, however V-neck halters DEFINATELY emphasise what's there. Maybe try looking for a sleeveless (as opposed to spaghetti straps which threaten to break, and teensy straps that only make the bustline look gigantic in comparison) V-neck dress with a crossover?

I'm actually not a fan of empire-line dresses unless you're a supermodel and everyone KNOWS you're thin as a stick underneath the billowing waistline. Otherwise... if you have a waist, flaunt it!!!

i have big boobies and my fave dresses are halters and wrap dresses..

IMO halters are the way to go as long as they cover most of the breast area! you really have to shop around with them.. there are some dresses that are halter but they are more like a traingle bikini sewed onto the top of a tube of fabric.. if you get my drift.. THESE ARE A NO NO!!!!!!!!

wrap dresses are my new best friend and can be worn dressed up for nightime, worn with classic heels and pearls for work or with boots and boho jemellry for a hippyish look.. you can get long sleeve, short sleeve, sleeveles, patterened plain ANYTHING!!!

also avoid thin straps.. those old 50s style dresses that have a high back and square neck with thick straps are actually quite flattering and can be retro cute or officy (depending on what youre after of course!)
