For those which don't have to wear a uniform, will you be dressing up for your exams ?

i think or geography students are decieding on a theme, I've picked out a dreadful tie suit jacket and shorts for my ext. 2 maths exam.

Will anyone else be dressing for the occasion for fun and to help boost the moral of your fellow students ???

i have to wear uniform, but whats the point in dressing up?
1: its just school!,
2: your only going to be there for a few hours anyway and
3: you'll be sitting in an exam for 3 hours, you should just wear something comfy!!
im glad we have to wear uniform, i dont have to worry about what to wear above all the other stresses!!

we dont have 2 wear uniform so the main aim is for everybody to b comfy rather than look good.
everybody mostly been wearing jeans or track pants and ugg boots cuz its been cold but one of the girls has been wearing stellios and mini skirts when its been 13 degrees and i just think its her problems shes cold and uncomfortable but she looks good and nobody cares.
the only ppl who are going 2 see u are the ppl youve been 2 school with for ever and old ppl and mabye a teacher who all wouldnt care so i wouldnt bother

At the exam venue l go to, the girls at the other school are dreadful.

I wear about 3 layers including a jumper so l'm warm, tracksuit pants and joggers.

They wear make-up, and fashionable clothes and are constantly worrying about how their hair looks. Those clothes may be comfortable to them, but l'd hate them!

One of my friends went to the loo in the middle of the exam and was escorted to the front, right in front of one of these girls who kept on eyeing her up and down and probably thinking about what she was wearing - what an idiot!

Gabn, I think thats an awsome idea and yes Im going to get my geo class or, most likely ancient class, to dress up! yay.
My friend always wears these glasses without lenses because she swears that they make her smarter and i think some sort of clothes would work the same way!

My drama class is rather small, and since its the last exam for most of us, and we are rather stupid the guys might just wear some funny ties instead of our school ties :).

for those which say it's only an exam well then your right it's only an exam so you might aswell do something stupied.

comfort is the main thing you don't really want to waste time striping during the exam because you put on something so stupied it's annoying.

The guy which came first for chem was wearing a wife beater for the exam. so it was amusing see the top student look like the biggest dero / bogan.

Dressing up for exams? Why do that?

On the first day of exams there were a handful of females who arrived at the exam centre wearing short skirts and tank tops. They probably didn't realise it was RAINING. At the conclusion of the exam they started whining and bickering about getting wet. They got drenched, and rightly so, trying to run to their boyfriends' cars in stupidly-high platform shoes. If they caught a cold, serves them right. The HSC is an academic examination, not a fashion show.

I wear whatever's comfortable and appropriate to the weather.

I can accept the idea of dressing up to make the exams fun, but, the HSC is one of those it-won't-be-fun-no-matter-how-much-you-try-to-make-it-fun things in life.

Didn't your school have a Year 12 Concert? We did, and it rocked, due to a certain individual's willingness to sacrifice his dignity to entertain the school mob.

The only way I can think of the HSC as being fun, is if the supervisors were chicks who answered exam questions and gave us 60 minute extensions on the exam durations.
