Hahaha...I got my pretty liscence. I showed up at RTA....
Me: I haven't done a booking, but can I still do it?
Lady at the counter: I'm sorry but you're supposed to book and today's really busy....
Me: I flash her one of my most heart broken puppy eyed looks ever...and I say 'Oh really...'
Lady (Flustered at my sadness): Well, I think I can sort of squeeze you in, darling...

Oh yeah!!! XD

Rta is always busy so you probably won't get a spot if you don't book it.
Though u can get away with it usually if you rock up right when it opens about 8.30AM and go for it then

Hey, are we allowed to learn how to drive/ park in the parking lots of supermarkets late at night...or will we be fined superbly?

depends on the rules there.

just go to a remote street area at around 8-9 pm for your first lesson.

cars rarely come there.

or go at 3-4 before the rush hour peak.
