Does anyone actually drive to school and uni, with all the traffic in the morning and the high parking fees?

Heaps of people in my grade when I was at school drove there.

We had our own parking area on a vacant lot beside the school which was only for seniors.

I sometimes drive to school, the parking is free, but has a two hour limit.
I tend to park all day, and I haven't been booked.. yet.

15 minute drive vs. 11 minute train + 15 minute walk.
LOL.

I drive about half-way there to a circle route bus stop, and catch the rest of the way to uni. With no parking permits for first years, it works out cheaper than paying $5 per day on pay parking.

lots of spammers recently.

OT: 25-30 minute drive vs 1 hour public transport from mine to UNSW... i take public transport all the time QQ.

If you're ok with it, get a motorbike there's heaps of free parking for it.

I generally go to and leave from uni during peak hour.

Non peak hour it takes about 40 mins to drive to uni, however then again it takes me 45 mins by public transport.

Peak hour it takes me over 90 minutes to drive to uni, 1 hr by public transport.

No contest really
