DVD-VCR combo (1 Viewer)

Can someone please tell me which of these is better ... Im seriously confused:

I want one!! But half these 'feauture' go over my head. Most important thing, obvious, is that is plays ALL DVDs - and i mean even from differetn regions and (shhh!) burnt dvds ... how do you find that out?

The last one records DVDs, the other two just dubs DVDs to a tape.

I would be weary of the price in the last one - these units usually go for at least one or two thousand.

I dont understand ... what does it record? Can it record tv shows like a vcr? Whats DVD-RAM?

The first two units are just a DVD player and a VCR in the one box. The last is that, and also a DVD recorder - ie, its a DVD burner as well, working like a normal VCR but recording to a DVD. DVD-RAM is another DVD format that allows many rewrites. The media itself is much more expensive than normal writable and re-writable media.
