Had a discussion on the weekend in the other threads about what the minimum cut-off for an E4 was.

Want to ask/and discuss what the minimum cut off for an E3 in terms of raw marks in an exam.

I had an estimate that a 76% raw mark in MX1 and 68% raw mark in MX2 the other day. There isn't alot of information out there on E3 cut offs , so I want to throw it to you guys out there who have received an E3 or know of someone who has. (there is no shame in receiving such a grade )

Not sure if I can read too much from the rawmarks.info webpage, as there have only been 5 grades submitted for MX1: 63, 69, 58, 52, 60. That's an average of 60.4%

For MX2 grades submitted: 63, 59, 63, 54, 49, 57, 45. That's an average of 55.71%.

What I do gather from this information though, is a grade of 60 or better in MX1 and 55 or better in MX2 would receive an E3 quite easily.

Feel free to add your own thoughts.
