i got mine today for engineering!! i was heaps impressed that its gaurenteed entry, my uts coop scholaship is only provisional, owell, the interview was pretty casual too, they barely talked about my marks or school, lolz they just asked about my gokart

my mate did and i was kind of suprised that he got one

he recieved a letter on the final day of EE submission saying he could have late early entry? if that makes any sense

Just got the letter today for conditional entry into Ba Computer Science. I need a minimum 2U maths mark of 70.

got conditional for mech engingeering. i need 76 UAI. a bit of a joke when the publicised uai is 78. id rather them tell me that i need a specific mark in a subject rather than tell me i need a uai only 2 points lower than everyone else.

out of curiousity, does anybody know how many guranteed offers were handed out?

even if it's just an estimate, im just curious to know

my mate said that they only handed out about 20 or so guranteed offers for the journalism course or something like that

there was about 3 people (including me) who got a guranteed offer down there, with a lot more than that applying for EE in my year

so yeah, any ideas?

Maths (2U) 5/38ish (can't remember exactly how many)
Chem 8/22 eeek (I do 12U though)
Legal 2/18

And I still didn't get it. As arrogant as this sounds, I know that I'll get over 90 for my uai, so wtf?

Talk about annoying from the law faculty..

I didn't get in either.. Despite having shit loads good rankings.. And 80+ % in all my subjects bar maths.. (eww) Plus work experience in every f*cking area of the law you can think of..

Do you think they took that critical thinkers test into more consideration than they let on??
