EAS or equivalents for transfer students (1 Viewer)

Let's say that you are a uni student planning to transfer to a new course, but during the year are disadvantaged in some way meaning that you are unable to perform at 100% e.g. contract an ongoing illness, close family member dies and subsequent bereavement etc. Do you get EAS for this, or, if not, are there other equivalents that you can use to gain entry into your desired course?
