What are the easiest courses you have come across during your time at USYD? I have the opportunity to choose some average boosters, any help is appreciated!

LAWS1006 Foundations of Law - no exams, only two essays, and they're so short and easy! =D

Its not easy to get marks in MKTG1001
The average mid semester grade was 11.7/20 (Stdev ~2)

They rebadge common sense as technical bullshit and then throw in all together in a confusing hodgepodge; and then couple it with the most boring textbook you will even read

depends if you are a sciency/maths/arts type person. But I have found all marketing and sociology units pretty easy. Maybe its because I can't keep my mouth shut and can write long responses without too much effort.

Whereas I found all my core commerce subjects (acct etc) pretty tough. Psyc hasn't been a piece of cake either, even though I find it most interesting out of all my majors (mktg, sclg, psyc and soc policy).

phil 1012 introductory logic

If you're a mathsy person, this will be the easiest thing ever. I did absolutely no work and got a 90. I think arts students don't enjoy it as much though.

Whoever said ACCT 1A is easy is wrong.

The fail rate on that course is pretty high for a first year compulsory commerce course

That being said, they obviously aren't very good courses (grammar isn't a verb).

I'd have to say my easiest unit last semester:

BIOL1003
I'd have to disagree with this one. Even though it's the third highest out of all the marks I've ever received, it was so much work. I dunno, but it seems it's easier to do better in Arts subjects. Whether that's because I've met motivated Arts people, or because it's not hard to do well given the calibre of most of the cohort, I'm not sure, but yeah, Arts subjects in general it seems to be easier to strike a D for example, than Science subjects.
