Hi, which of these provide the best jobs and employment opportunities when paired with law?
eco
commerce
finance

I read previously in a post about investment banking and it piqued my interest. I'll probably aim for that path, if not then something to do with accountanting. But I want to keep my options open.

commerce(accounting). its very safe (dual professional status, lots of accounting jobs, very practical skill) but very boring (both coursework and in terms of the sheer number of acct/law ppl graduating)

actuary/llb is pretty tough, I'm finding it both physically and mentally demanding, a lot of walking between the faculties in addition to pulling frequent all nighters. It's mostly the stats that's putting me off. I'm not sure about UMaq but at ANU they put u straight away into 2nd year stats which is damn hard. No real progression from basics to hard...its just hard to begin with and I heard it'll get harder later on.
I'm not sure whether actuary/llb mesh well together ne ways.
or whether it's worth doing the current 2 degrees as opposed to doing one of the aforementioned combinations with law if they can get me where I want to equally well.

Also with commerce EVERYONE is doing it! I foresee an oversupply, thus a bit reluctant to do it for this reason. Does anyone share the same view?

But think of the endless job opportunities. Commerce in itself is exhaustive considering the amount of majors available.

yeh commerce is more broad and fin is more specialised (at maq at least)...it doesnt relaly matter, once u come out of combined law ull always have oppurtunities, ranging from IB to traditional legal work
