Worst fucking run course ive ever/will ever come across. This always happens when women are solely responsible for running a course. Im writing a complaint email tomorrow.

abs, what are the assessments like?
on the whole they are ok. its mainly just practise in academic writing. speech at the end of the semester kinda scares me though. no homework. 2 hrs a week. meh to be honest its a total bludge.

Re: Ecof1001/1002

BUMP

I'm taking this unit this semester because I have a space to fill until I am able to begin senior units in econ, govt and ecmt next year. It's not a core subject for me.

I had originally chosen ecop1002... but that was before ecop1001 last semester. ecof1001 seems useful. However, I'm returning to uni second- week and thus miss out on being able to see what the subject's like in first week, change out of it etc. They've put nothing on blackboard yet for it... so I am only aware of what's been provided in the handbook.

Does anyone have any more information? Examples of texts examined? Speech content? Thankyou so much :) .

Re: Ecof1001/1002

...

There's no other prerequisite I need to complete in first year. That's why I've chosen an inter- disciplinary unit from the eco+busi faculty this semester.

But of course I appreciate your well- informed advice, stazi.

Re: Ecof1001/1002

surely it's not interesting though and it'd be more worthwhile taking a fun course.
