Hmm Summer School ay.... Well I don't know about you guys but $1200-$1500 is a bit too much to pay for one subject.

Summer school requires you to pay up front, and at "International Students" rate, ie. about twice as much as normal HECs.

crashoveride, if you wanna plan ur timetable out, i'd advise you to do acst101 in sem1 rather than sem2. so u do 5 subjects in sem1 and do 4 in sem2.

coz acst211 and math133 in sem2 is alot harder than anything ur gonna do in sem1...

Thanks for your advice, malachite.
I was thinking if i should take up another unit in sem1 but wasn't sure because i thought it might be safer to just take the recommended plan (so 4 units..they're called units right? acst151, econ110 etc? ) in sem1...because im unaware of the difficulty and uni style and all that =p

but basically, the majority of ppl taking this in sem1 if i did it wud be 2nd year ppl aye?

they'd most be first year, but the important thing to know is you won't be up against many actuarials

like i understand if u only wanna do the 4 in sem1 and 5 in sem2 coz sem1 is ur first sem in uni and u kinda wanna get used to uni life and enjoy it while u can etc...well dats wot i thought too. and i followed recommended program too.

but im juz sayn...from hindsight...sem2 was hardcore wiv 5 subjects...and sem1 was pretty easy peasy...

or you can do econ111 in summer school or another subject in summer to ease the load.
