i haven't even opened the book... i don't wanna find out i paid like $100 for something crappy....

anyways.... isn't it better to stick with varian because thats the book referred to in the lectures?!

is for all optimisation problems regardless of type of graph?

lol i'm still on chapter 4 ( i think we are up to like 9 or ten in lectures though!)
anyway can someone tell me when we use this theorem? like i know he said that the tangency rule doesn't always apply and the he introduced this lagrange thingy...so does this always work?

anyway for those that have done it already what is the mid semester like?

i've read up to chap6.. and haven't come across any lagrange stuff..

for some reason the word lagrange sounds familiar... from high school math? *shudders*

and i dont think there are past papers for the tests.. only the finals...

hmm i got past papers for the mid sems...but in hard copy.

apparently the second pp exam was really similar to the second test

they used to give em out in ERIC, but maybe they dont anymore? i dont know, you can try and see
