can someone help me with the optimal bundle thing...like i can do it graphically but then when we actually have to solve it algebraiclly i keep stuffing it up ...can you suggest a method of remembering it or steps to do it....

also is the slutsky equation the one then we pivot on the bundle or on the same indifference curve?

Slutzsky is where you pivot around the same bundle and hicks is where you pivot around the same indifference curve i think.
