i heard about this, some subject where they mix maths and econ,

does n e 1 have any idea wut this subject is all about?

This is a subject u take at uni...specifically if u major in Economics u do a lot of it...its basically statistics and economics...basically the mechanics behind how macroeconomics works

does this mean econometrics is a graduate course?
and what careers does it lead 2?
sounds very interesting

Its a major in the Economics course for some unis, and a graduate course in some unis. I think the London School of Economics has as a seperate course.

Well, harimau is right. At UNSW, and I assume at Sydney too, u can major in Econometrics if u do a Bachelor of Economics

Also, if u major in Economics at UNSW, u still do compulsory units on econometrics anyway.
