What is economics like at uni?
Is it as fun and interesting as it is at school?
Is it a lot harder?

hm i do economics/law and I'm not exactly ENJOYING my course at the moment. We're doing microeconomics, which is REALLY boring and lots of maths. but nevertheless, i guess it's pretty interesting. but high school is definitely better

I really liked Economics in year 12, but uni economics is really boring, and very difficult, especially in later years with compulosry econometrics. Basically you use maths to derive/create/investigate economic models

heh, my actuarial studies friends complain that microeconomics 2 (2nd yr) is hard..and they do actuarial studies

I was in B.Economics in 1st yr, but transferred to Commerce this year and switched to Accounting cause I got turned off Economics..

never touched it before

I HATE IT WITH A PASSION!

i just don't get it...plus i hate eco multiple choice exams....i hate MCs.....i want essays!
i always get tricked and pick the wrong answer

eco would have to be my worst subject

When you say a lot of maths do you mean really hard maths? Is it necessary to do 3u maths in high skl to be able to handle eco at uni

no you don't have to do 3unit...
2u will be more than enough
not that doing 3u will kill you
