does anyone know whats happening with the mcq marks coz some rooms were allowed to use calculators and some wernt
my lecturer diane said it will be considered if its the determinant between a pass/fail at the end of the course
my tutor said if theres a noticeable difference with marks of rooms that were/wernt allowed to use calculators, there will be scaling

some rooms they walked around making sure calculators wernt on desks, i suppose you could use it if u were sneaky

in our room they were walking around making us put ou calculators on the floor.

if i remember ..
there were like 1 or 2 questiosn where u "needed" a calculator...
not exactly needed but it would have made things alot faster...

i guess i was lucky in the "i dont give a shit about calc" room..

even we at usyd were not allowed 2 use calculators for microeconomics in the mid-sem.

If I can remember , I think there was only 1 question that required a calculation?... so calculator would just mean 30 sec difference at most
