i dont think that they signed a military pact before the 56 war...cause 56 was in reality a war between Israel, Britain and France.
After the 56 war during the height of Nasserism (as it has been called) a United Arab Repulbic (UAR) was established with both Syria and Egypt joining together....(that sounds like what Saladin did in the Crusades
) anyway, that went downhill quickly
