I am doing Bachelor of Economics

I need help with selecting my courses, when I am at the "myUNSW Enrolment" page, I can not search for any of the electives, it only comes up with compulsory courses, and I have not received a letter with what I can choose from ie. the electives , so I am not to sure of what i can pick just that I know there is 'legal environment of commerce' and some computer one

And any recommendation to what electives I should choose? I'm thinking of a career in acountantancy / financial kinda area.

Do you intend on majoring in accounting and finance? I'm majoring in econometrics and finance and I did two finance core subjects during my first year (one in each sem). Students usually choose the legal env. and infosystems subjects because it's required for a CPA if i'm not mistaken.

BTW, I think the last day of enrolment is pretty close? Just a heads up.

elective choices for acct/fins majors:

LEGT1711 (CA/CPA req.) then either:
FINS1612 (fins core) or INFS1602... i think its that one, dbl check it (CPA req.) or LEGT2522... i think its that one (CA/CPA req.)

INFS1602 (CPA req.) then either:
same as above switching with LEGT1711

FINS1612 (fins core) then either:
FINS1613 (fins core) or LEGT1711 or INFS1602

if your after a transfer into BCom as above.

HOWEVER, since your doing BEco you Must do one economics major... i.e. you cant do acct & fins dbl majors. perhaps acct & financial economics, fins & econometrics or financial ecos. have a read of the unsw handbook and make sure you know what majors you can do, and after that you can take a look at electives
