hey

for my course i gotta do 2 electives, but im not sure exactly wat an elective is. can it be any course? and can i choose an elective from a major? eg finance major then 2 finance courses as electives.

There are electives within a degree and electives within a major. They are completely different. I assume that your talking about electives within a degree.

Yes you can do a major (7/8 subjects) and then do another 2 subjects that are within the same discipline/specialisation for your degree.
