Hey everyone. Thanks in advance

Q. A student set up an electrical circuit as show in the diagram below (attached). All the globes are of the same power and the batteries are the same voltage. The switches were closed and all the globes glowed brightly in the circuit.

a) If each globe was labelled 6 watts, What current was flowing in the circuit when globes A and B were connected?

b) Determine the power used by globe C in the circuit if it was added at point P.Phys question.PNG

a) 6 watts per bulb, the potential difference will be 12V/2 = 6V as the bulbs are the same. power = V*I, I = 1A.
b) 3 bulbs, potential difference will be 12V/3 = 4V each. Current will be 1A, power will be 4 Watts.
