how difficult is it to get a decent job in Australia, in comparison to other countries in the world?

Is it THAT highly affected by the recession..or not so much comparatively?

Thanks . Actually, I've graduated in Australia recently (with a degree that's suitable for application of permanent residence), but I did not choose to migrate while still on shore. Now I really miss it and am considering whether I should come back. It's just a thought, for the moment.
