i'd say i was for the arnold, i put a lot of practise in and it was still a bit of a lottery if it worked out or not and on the day it just worked

Encore Guitarists

For anyone who made Encore for guitar, what did you play?

I think i bombed out on Caruso because I'm not an opera singer, bright lights was always my strength, but i really hope i get in with spiderman, that would be bloody awesome. Hahah ...IF i get in. And judging my the amount of people nominated, that's going to be a hell-hard task. The jeff buckley piece is a bit obscure though they might've like that.

Anyway i'm not too confident about getting in. Had to rush the video because I kind of had more important things on my mind (ie. studying for the 3 exams i had the week after), so we'll see what happens.

Any one else think they should tell us earlier?

I got my letter today - to say I got into encore! Was a bit of a surprise really

It was for my performance of Charlie Parker's Donna Lee.

We should have a BoS gathering for music students before the concert.

I know some dude from my school got in for his extension composition(s). Hooray for going to Encore and missing a whole day of school! And then having to catch up on homework after... booo..... Our school always gets seats at the top, so no moshing for me unfortunately.
