Hey everyone
I was just wondering if anyone was aware of the process of selection into encore?
Is it the top 10% of students performances/compositions/aurals?
If you don't get nominated, does that mean you're not in the top 10%?

NO WAY!!!!!
They select 12 or so people to perform/have their compositions performed who they like and think would make a good concert - timing/preparation/variety etc. It has next to nothing to do with marks or ranks.

I loved magnolia too but Punch Drunk appealed to me more (you know.. the whole manically violent outburst thing).
