I wouldn't bet on that...I had a virgin liver and I handled 25-30 standard drinks.

22 standard drinks in a 700mL Johnny Walker ;)

I don't believe so... you just need to be under the supervision of a "responsible adult". In any event, the summit only made recommendations. Insufficient time has passed for any changes to have been made (though I could be wrong).

actually, its illegal to supply alcohol to anyone underage. Its like smoking, you're allowed to do it at 16, but aren't allowed to buy them till 18, and it is a crime for anyone else to give it to you. Same goes with the alkies.

Actually, minors can drink legally on private property with the permission of their parents :) Also, a responsible adult (spouse/locae parente) may provide a minor with alcohol on private property, as stated above, with the permission of their parents.

We've actually added two more guys to the team who will be working behind the scenes - one of their main roles is to promote this event by all possible means.

As an example... we're going to approach Nova and 2dayFM to arrange for various announcements, along with ticket give-aways, etc. Amongst a number of things. ;)

NFI, but that's what the Licensing Sargent told us at a Policing Seminar .. *shrugs*

I think it's illegal for licensed premises to provide alcohol to minors as they have to comply with the Liquor Act.
