Hey, have any of you girls been diagnosed with endo?

If so, how were you diagnosed?
How have you been treated for it?
Did it effect your school/work/social life?

the idea is

-hot water bottle thingys

-ponstan/nurofen

-the pill

-laproscopic removal by a gynecologist

most girls just make sure they have pads/tampons and the ponstan or other painkiller like nurofen with them. With the pill it usually controls it with little problem.
ask your GP for more information.

Well I've had the removal via laproscope, and the pill hasn't really worked, I'm now on the combined pill and a progesterone based pill.

Was just kinda wondering if any other teen girls out there have been having troubles as well.

I do know of someone who gets this so severely that she has never been able to curb it with any of the suggested methods above. the last i heard about it she had to go and see a specialist in sydney (she lives in the snowy mountains) because the pain was so severe that she was hospitalised a couple of times. I'm sorry i can't be more helpful than that, I'm not sure if it's better now or not

A change in the pill may help, a friend of mine was on monofemme which didnt curb the pain much, after a few years she change to Yasmin and it worked for her (please dont think it has to be Yasmin as its really expensive and I think its over rated and plays on girls fear of gaining weight) but the mix of hormones you are taking may not be quite right
