So I do Methods Maths in the ACT, and most NSW Universities ask for HSC Mathematics Extension 1 for an Engineering Degree. Does anyone know if they are equivalent? I checked some universities in Victoria and ACT, and they both require Methods Maths, but I just need confirmation if they're the same.

I gleaned this info from the prerequesites for PhB @ ANU 2010 @ ANU - STUDYAT - Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours)

ACT Mathematical Methods is equivalent to NSW HSC Mathematics 2 unit

ACT Specialist Mathematics Major - Minor is equivalent to NSW HSC Mathematics Extension 1

ACT Specialist Mathematics double major is equivalent to NSW HSC Mathematics Extension 2

Unless you got a really high mark in Math Methods I suggest you do the Maths Bridging course offered by most unis otherwise you might struggle to pass 1st year uni maths.
