Engineering ... S1, S2 Elective? (1 Viewer)

Hey,

Im Doing Mechatronic/Biomedical engineering... but I think 1st yr is the same for all engineers...

Anyhow, I was using the First year course planner and whilst it gave me a list of core and electives that I had to choose from, the following appeared next to MMAN1300 "MMAN1300 must be taken in either S1 or S2"

However "not offered" also appears next to the subject in both semesters...

Confused!!!

Has this subject been taken out or something in 2006, Ive chosen 3 of my subjects for semester 1 and 3 for semester 2 but I still havnt enrolled, Im waiting for someone to enlighten me on this issue...

Any help would be greatly appreciated... btw does anyone else seem to be having trouble with the enrolment section of the site?

I'd suggest you e-mail them and follow it up by calling the relevant school on this issue if the school's web site does not have any specific announcements regarding this course. E-mail replies are expected to be slow during this time of the year, so calling up might be a good thing I suppose.
I'm not doing Mechatronics, so I cannot provide further details. Perhaps someone doing the same thing can help.

Hey, Thanks Chris.

Yeah I e-mailed them about 3 days ago, but anyways I went to uni today, it turns out Im a special case lol, for some odd reason Im being offered the 2005 first yr engineering subjects, rather than the 2006 first yr engineering subjects... although Im still unsure as to why MMAN1300 isnt available in 1st semester, and neither were they, although it was available in 2nd semester, but that completely stuffs my semester 2 elective...

Anyways, I was advised to enrol in the subjects i can do, and theyll sort things out when i go next time... so hopefully its all cool, but thanks for the help!!!
